About Us

We Started Because of a Phone Call at 3am

Four years ago, a member of our founding team got a call in the middle of the night from his mother.

She had just had a total knee replacement six weeks earlier. She was doing everything right. PT three times a week. Heel slides every ninety minutes. Ice four times a day. Never missed a session.

She was at 87 degrees.

Her surgeon had mentioned Manipulation Under Anesthesia. She did not know what it meant. She looked it up at midnight and called her son crying.

He did not know what to tell her.

He was not a doctor. He was not a physical therapist. He was an engineer who had spent fifteen years building medical devices and he still did not have an answer for his mother at 3am.

So he started researching.

What We Found Made Us Angry

The research was not hidden. It was not obscure. It was sitting in peer-reviewed orthopedic rehabilitation literature that anyone could access.

Post-surgical patients plateau because scar tissue forms continuously, every hour of every day. Physical therapy interrupts that process at the clinic. But PT happens twice a week. The other five days, the scar tissue hardens unopposed.

The treatment stays at the clinic. The patient goes home with exercises.

Every PT clinic uses electrical stimulation on the joint before manual work begins. It increases local blood flow, activates the muscle pump, disrupts the continuous hardening cycle. It is not a warmup. It is the primary treatment modality.

And then the patient goes home.

For five days, they do exercises. Not the treatment. Just the homework.

40 minutes of treatment per week against 168 hours of continuous scar formation.

The math has never been in the patient's favor.

His mother was not failing. She was not weak. She was not doing the exercises wrong.

She was just missing five days of the treatment that was working.

What We Built

We spent eighteen months developing a home device that delivers the same electrical stimulation protocol used in post-surgical PT clinics.

Not inspired by it. Not a simplified version of it.

The same low-frequency current, delivered through electrode pads placed at the same sites your PT uses, producing the same response: increased local circulation, activated muscle pump, disrupted scar formation cycle.

The goal was simple. Give patients the treatment every day, not twice a week.

The Vozdic PostCare Pro is the result.

Who We Are

Vozdic is a team of engineers, physical therapists, and post-surgical patients who believe that recovery should not depend on how many clinic appointments your insurance covers.

We are not a hospital. We are not a PT practice. We are a small team that got tired of watching people miss their recovery windows because the treatment that was working at the clinic was not available on the five days they were home.

Our head of product has had two knee replacements.

Our clinical advisor has treated post-surgical patients for over twenty years.

Every decision we make is guided by one question: does this actually help someone hit their degree goal before the window closes?

What We Believe

We believe the 12-week recovery window is real. We believe scar tissue does not take days off. We believe patients who do everything right deserve to know why their gains keep disappearing overnight, and they deserve a tool that actually addresses the cause.

We believe the treatment should not stay at the clinic.

The Phone Call

His mother hit 119 degrees at week twelve.

Her MUA was canceled.

She still uses the device every morning.

That is why Vozdic exists.

Vozdic PostCare Pro is intended for post-surgical recovery support. Always follow the guidance of your surgeon and physical therapist. Individual results may vary.
